In 2006-2008 I attended Niagara College for the Journalism/Print program. I bounced between radio, film, and print departments and was blessed enough to travel to Australia in 2008 for a chance to shadow an editor over the period of my stay between Darwin, and Adelaide. My first camera was an old and incredibly reliable Minolta Maxxum 700SI. That camera went everywhere with me. While working for the St Catharine's Weekly News in 2008-09 that camera was my best friend and one of the paper's most used source of photos.
Now my camera is a Sony Alpha DSLR-A330 10.2 MP Digital SLR and she takes some of the most beautiful photos. Not the newest kid on the block but she sure gets the job done!
I have photographed weddings, childbirths, events and actual portraits but my heart loves Nature. Between that and our family, my time with a camera is used to share the beauty of this life as I see it, from my perspective.
Mostly you'll find photos of our gardens, weeds, and life as we live it.
