Two whole people create a figure 8 of reciprocating energy and damn it I wish people saw that you can't really love anyone until you love yourself.
If I could teach young women something about relationships it would be to never beg and act inferior in their relationships. To never accept having to always guess where they stand and jump like an animal for a treat.
If I could teach young men something it would be exactly the same.
Neither man nor woman are above or below each other and no one should ever beg for anything.
I can't believe there are people out there who treat their partners like this....nor can I fathom anyone finding it acceptable. You are just as valuable as your partner is and they are just as valuable as you are. If this is not the case, someone is getting short-changed.
Two halves don't make a whole....two halves fight forever to stay filled with each others half or filling up for the other. Someone in this situation is always going without to give everything to the other. This is not and infinite connection of the heart.
Look at yourself and your relationships and see your worth. This isn't just in the romantic areas of your life. This is in friendships, businesses, partnerships, anything where you pair up with purpose.
This kind of relationship isn't for everyone. It's for those who take personal accountability, for those who have a strong sense or integrity, honesty and self-love. For those with these qualities, this type of relationship is priceless and it's everything.
Love each other and yourselves well. Start with loving yourself and then the rest comes naturally!
