I can remember, as far back as 10 years ago, parents getting their kids together to infect them! Yes you read that right, 'to infect them'. My daughter had the chicken pox and a few parents actually asked if their kids could come over to get the nasty infliction out of the way, so that it wouldn't harm them as adults.
Now parents everywhere are so afraid of the disease monsters and fear campaigners, that they are wielding verbal pitchforks and torches at parents who refuse to stick their children with toxins. Are we having fun yet?
I can't get over the unreasonable venom that these parents are spewing. So many of them using whatever tactics they can to force their opinions on others. You know, like the article about us not caring for the immune compromised baby? (TO THE PARENT OF THE UNVACCINATED CHILD WHO EXPOSED MY FAMILY TO MEASLES)
The biggest thing here I see being peddled is fear and misinformation.
That being said, the rebuttal for this article was just genius!
Towards my children, I am feeling extra protective. Towards my rights, I am like a mean mama bear who got poked during the middle of a nap. Towards the creators of the hysteria that all of a sudden, for the first time in history, deemed one child more important and makes my child a perceived threat to everyone else’s, I am angry. Towards the parent of an immunocompromised child I am sympathetic, yet frustrated by the fact that you do not respect my choices, that you think my unvaccinated child is the only one who threatens yours, and that you would insinuate that my child should be sacrificed on the altar for your child.
The rest of this article is highly informative, sites the CDC and uses logic. Please click below to read the rest.
