The Moon is dark, no shadow does it cast for it, in itself is the shadow.
In this time we realize that we see no shadow playing at our feet but are exactly that:
the shadow playing within.
This time we integrate, accept and align these beautiful dark parts of us that we do not allow to be seen.
We stop hiding them in the dark.
They are beautiful in their own right, we are beautiful in our own right.
When we cast light our shadow lingers, balancing.
Creation comes from the depths of the dark.
No one need tell us to play with our dark, for if we are working in unison with Self, our Shadow is our friend, not something we hide.
Should you need this time to be reminded of your inner workings, there is no shame to be had.
It's time for you to see, to look, to explore.
To others yet still, there is an urgency to combine light with dark in a unison that is balance on the days that the Moon is Full to her brim to the days where her sliver of white is barely recognized.
This is our duty of self.
To make the two as one. Light and dark is our soul.
The valleys and hills, the caves and open fields, the depths of the sea and shallow space of a puddle.
Nothing hides a shadow but self.
No mist, no mountain, no structure or depth can hide it from you.
You are that which you refuse to see in it's strongest form.
Going within or without, the microcosm to the macrocosm.
Shadow to light, the dance between heaven and hell, life and death, new and old.
Face your shadow, shake hands with it, embrace it and remember that it is no great search to find.
It is but a step into yourself with the guidance of the Moon, the wisdom of intuition and the reliance of self awareness, that brings you home within.

It is the simplest, most intricate events in this life that cultivate slowly to make the greatest things happen. These small weavings through time are a treasures we often overlook. Walk each moment in a way that leaves you whole and not wanting. Not always the way it goes but surely the way most rewarding, most memorable and most pleasing when hindsight sits at your feet, beckoning you to understand the lesson.
